“AS HOME TO THE MOST INNOVATIVE HIGH FASHION COLLECTIONS”
…in fact The New York Times describes its merchandise as “all the right European labels” – 119 Corbo continues its 10 year reign as Canada’s ultimate women’s specialty boutique. In Toronto, just steps from the Four Seasons and Hazelton hotels in the heart of upscale Yorkville district, 119 Corbo is located in a historic townhouse, allowing for two floors of retail, chicly revamped by Johnson Chou Design + Architecture. 119 Corbo exemplifies retail excellence with a mandate of personalized service and a drive to push the city’s fashion envelope with exclusive, groundbreaking collections that work into the store’s definitive aesthetic of cool, modern luxury. No wonder 119 Corbo is the go to destination for the city’s fashion press, style elite and celebrity visitors.
“If there is one thing I know, it’s how to dress women.” – Says owner Linda Perisa. who’s vision of dressing women is unfiltered and simply perfect. She has a clean, yet dramatic and strong personal sense of style, which translates into the clothing curated for her boutique. Linda’s ability to curate collections that she believes in has led her to introduce such designers as Ann Demeulemeester, Rick Owens and Haider Ackermann to Canada. The later Haider Ackermann commented after his showing at the ROM, “I did the show because, Linda asked me.”
Needless to say, since she opened 119 Corbo, Linda has paved the way in Toronto for being the first independant shop to bring in these international designers, and continues to this day, to be a must-shop in Yorkville.
